Even before MadHatter turned 6, she has been asking to throw a tea party. We did a small, family version for her birthday last year, but it wasn't what she was envisioning. She wanted the cakes, the sandwiches, the dressing up. She wanted it all. And last Thursday she finally hosted her very own MadHatter Tea Party for 14 of her closest friends (plus 7 of mine)! Craziness ensued. But so did a lot of fun. And somewhere along the way, we even drank some tea.
