Frozen Fever

Sunday, June 7

Stinkerbell has a summer birthday.  And when you are an expat that means having a party a bit early so that your friends can actually attend, because almost everyone travels for a chunk of time in the summer and gathering any group together is very difficult.  And, since all summer birthday's are celebrated the last 3 weekends before school ends, there tends to be a lot scheduling and consulting with the other parents so that we don't encroacho on each others ideas, dates or locations.  For Stinkerbell, none of that political stuff matters, because she was she very clear on what type of party she wanted, and where, from the very beginning.

It was to be a Frozen themed party, but mostly Elsa because that is her favorite.  It would be held at Da Ezio (a local pizza place) with kids all making their own pizza for lunch.  And she wanted to have a magician - because Elsa has magic - and not just any magician, but it had to be Yankee Doodle (thankfully he is who I had already hired, before I got the news that she wanted him) and he had to have balloon animals afterwards.  The cake would be in the shape of Elsa's dress, the pretty blue one, not the coronation gown.  And she would like to wear something Elsa, but not her dress (thank you H and M for having Elsa leggings...)

This girl definitely knows what she wants.  And we were more than happy to deliver.

I give you the pictures of "the best birthday party ever," from the happiest, almost 6 year old ever!

Balloon animals!

Taking pictures with friends...
No matter the age...

She was a bit apprehensive about the shooting, singing candle...
